Spinal Tap Tracks For Rock Band

Harmonix has announced that next week's Rock Band music store update will be made up of eleven classic Spinal Tap tracks.

Following on from the four previous Spinal Tap tracks that hit Rock Band, we're now going to see some of the originals. These songs are apparently "re-imagined and newly interpreted" for Tap's new album, so there are some changes, but Big Bottom is in there so we don't much care.

The following tracks, all from Spinal Tap, will hit all three systems next week with the tracks due on 360 and Wii on 4 August, and on PS3 two days later on 6 August. They'll be £0.99 GBP/€1.49 EUR each, or 200 Wii Points, or 160 Microsoft Points. Alternatively, buy them all in a pack for 1440 Microsoft Points.

  • (Funky) Sex Farm
  • (Listen to the) Flower People (Reggae Stylee)
  • America
  • Big Bottom
  • Cups and Cakes
  • Gimme Some Money
  • Heavy Duty
  • Hell Hole
  • Rock 'n' Roll Creation

The Wii will also be expanding its back-catalogue along with getting the Spinal Tap tracks on 4 August with the following tracks, also priced at 200 Wii Points apiece,:

  • Black Sabbath - N.I.B. (Cover)
  • Black Sabbath - Sweet Leaf (Cover)
  • Black Sabbath - War Pigs (Cover)
