Ultima Online Expansion Now Available For Free

The seventh Ultima Online expansion, Mondain's Legacy, is now available to old and new players for free.

The expansion, which features the Elven race and several dungeons, was originally introduced in the summer of 2005. The UO game client will now be upgraded to include the content from the expansion at no extra cost to subscribers.

Players who wish to return to the game or try it for the first time can download the 14-day trial, which now includes all seven Ultima Online expansions.

“Mythic is extremely excited about offering Mondain’s Legacy as a free upgrade to all Ultima Online subscribers, as well as new players who sign up for the 14-day free trial,” said Jeff Hickman, executive producer for Mythic Entertainment. He goes on to state that Mythic is committed to providing fresh and rewarding experiences for players.

Ultima Online's eighth expansion, Stygian Abyss, is arriving this summer and will introduce a playable Gargoyle race, new areas and the largest dungeon area so far in the game.
