Tropico 3 Speech Feature Detailed

Kalypso Media has today detailed the "El Presidente speech" feature in Tropico 3. 

As ‘El Presidente' you will have to give speeches to the inhabitants of your island with the hope of swaying them in your favour during election time.

Certain parts of the speech will be automatically generated depending on how you run the island. For instance, a country which adopts communist traits will see El Presidente addressing the public as comrades.

You will be able to choose which problems to address, who to praise, and what promises to make, however if you don't live up to what you promised you better get ready for the consequences.

Closed beta for the PC version has already begun. Both the PC and Xbox 360 versions are expected to release in September.
