New Ultima Online MMO For China
 Bill Vaughan

EA and developer NetDragon Websoft Inc. have teamed up to bring a new MMO to China based on the popular title, Ultima Online.

NetDragon will develop the game with the help of Mythic, the team behind Warhammer Online. However, don't expect to see this game in the west any time soon, NetDragon only has an operating licence for China, Hong Kong, Macau and India.

Jon Niermann, President of EA Asia said, "Ultima Online(TM) is a well known EA property and we're delighted to bring the game to fans in China, Hong Kong, Macau and India. NetDragon is a proven partner and we're confident in their expertise to build and operate a great gaming experience for players".

I didn't play the original, although I bought it. I wonder who will licence it to the rest of the world.

This game is the daddy of all modern MMOs. I'd be interested to see if this is just a localised version of UO or a new game.
