WoW Cleared In China, CBT Starts 30 July

The General Administration of Press and Publication in China has given NetEase permission to go ahead and begin the closed beta test of World of Warcraft in China, while content changes take place.

Following our earlier report that the Ministry of Culture had given WoW the go-ahead, NetEase has been informed that it can let players who previously had WoW accounts back into the game from 30 July while it, along with Blizzard, make changes to the content, as requested by GAPP, and recover any lost data from the change-over between themselves and previous operators, The9.
