Sony has confirmed the sequel to Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune will be released in October.
Kotaku has reportedly received confirmation from Sony that Uncharted 2: Among Thieves will hit US store shelves on 13 October, with the UK release likely to follow on 17 October.
Sony has also revealed a number of pre-order-only exclusive content deals for US retailers. Those who preorder at Best Buy will get some gaudy golden Barettas to use in the multiplayer game, while Amazon customers will receive a Treasure Map and Game Crazy is offering in-game currency for use online.
GameStop, however, is offering exclusive access to the MP demo from 9 – 29 September as well as the downloadable Revenge ‘booster’ (think MP perks) which will be available from the outset of the game.
