LittleBigPlanet Reaches 1 Million Created Maps

Media Molecule has announced that the LBP community has created over a million maps since the release last year.

The people over at PlayStation Blog has done some numbers and it means roughly every 21 seconds a new level has been uploaded since last October.

Sony also teased an announcement from Media Molecule saying;

"18th of August. The folks at Media Molecule might have something interesting to tell you..."

So what could we be seeing? Official DLC for the game? A sequel perhaps? Drop us a comment with what you think the announcement maybe.
