Diablo Designer Heads Development of Marvel MMO

David Brevik, former Blizzard North president, has been signed to work on the new Marvel MMO.

Publisher Gazillion Entertainment has now been handed the rights to the title and signed the former lead developer on the first two Diablo games, David Brevik.

Brevik, who also worked on Blizzard’s Battle.net, will become the new studio director of Gargantuan (the team from NetDevil currently working on Marvel Universe).

The superhero MMO market is getting a little crowded at the moment with long time MMORPG City of Heroes, and upcoming titles, DC Universe and Champions Online.
