DC Publishing Dante's Inferno Comic

EA's Dante's Inferno will be getting a comic series courtesy of DC Comics.

The comic of the game of the first part of the poem will be a six-issue run under the Wildstorm label, and is set to be illustrated by Diego Latorre and written by Christos Gage.

Issue 0 - a preview issue - will be available at San Diego Comic-Con International 2009 from 23 July to 26 July, where there'll also be a trailer of the Dante's Inferno animated film.

Dante's Inferno is a third-person action-adventure with a very God of War feel to it. We got our hands on it awhile back and thoroughly enjoyed it. The game is due out in 2010, while the comic will go on sale this December.
