Warner Bros has announced the development of a Where the Wild Things Are game.
The movie - an adaptation of a popular children's book - is in turn being adapted into a game, which we're sure will take you all by surprise.
The game hands over control of Max to players, asking them to explore the soon-to-be-destroyed island of the Wild Things and find a way to escape with them to safety. Expect to "journey across its dangerous terrain, overcome hazardous obstacles and battle fierce creatures."
"Through their action-filled adventure, players will team-up with the Wild Things - each with their own unique skills or special talents - learn valuable new abilities and work together to find a way to safety," says Samantha Ryan, senior VP of production and development at Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment.
The game is being developed for Wii, PS3, and Xbox 360 by Amaze Entertainment, and for the Nintendo DS by WayForward. Expect it to hit shelves in November, ahead of the movie release in December.
