Atlus Accidentally Announces New Shin Megami Tensei?

Atlus has possibly announced Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey.

A Japanese teaser site has gone live, featuring a grid of blocks that disappear temporarily when the mouse is moved over them. The full image appears to show the bottom half of Earth with a really big hole in the middle of Antarctica. While uncovering the image, text flashes up, which apparently translates to things like "For the future of mankind, let's do it!"

Siliconera discovered that the source code for the page was hiding a file called logo_megami.jpg, which you can see for yourself below. The image contains a stylised Shin Megami Tensei logo that looks identical to the ones used in the main series (as opposed to, say, the logo on IMAGINE Online), the English subtitle "Strange Journey," and a date of 8 October - which is apparently a Thursday, the day of the week in which most Japanese games are released.

Seems pretty convincing to us. What do you think? Could Strange Journey be a new SMT title continuing on from Nocturne, or another side game?
