Dragon Age Collector's Edition Detailed

BioWare has detailed the Collector's Edition of Dragon Age, which will include an item for Mass Effect 2.

There are no details on what the Mass Effect 2 item is, but there are, thankfully, more details on the rest of what the package contains.

For your money ($65 USD for the PC version, $75 USD for console) you'll get a tin case, a DVD containing a making of documentary in addition to soundtrack, wallpapers, strategies and the like, a cloth map, three pieces of in-game content - Bergens Honor, Grimoire of the Frozen Wastes, and Final Reason - and a Stone Prisoner bonus quest and an unlockable character named Shale.

Pre-ordering from Gamestop will also get you two more items. You'll get the Feral Wolf Charm which increases armour and health regeneration in addition to causing "[enchantment] on moonlit nights by scantily clad witches deep in the heart of the Korcari Wilds," according to rumour. You'll also get the Memory Ring, which increases the speed you'll accrue experience and lets you level up more efficiently.

No word on these coming to Europe, but considering past BioWare releases we suspect we'll see the Collector's Edition and wouldn't be surprised by similar pre-order bonuses on these shores. Check out our preview of the game here.
