EA has announced that Battlefield 1943's Coral Sea map has been unlocked on the Xbox 360.
We knew that the map, focused around dogfighting, would be released to the public once players had achieved a combined 43 million kills. That staggering number has now been hit, almost a week after release, which implies a silly amount of kills.
Our own review of the game will be up later this week now that the server issues have been ironed out, but how does the new map play out? Our own Andy Alderson, based on his first impressions of the level, reckons that Coral Sea is "utterly chaotic. It's brilliant." You can quote him on that.
Keep an eye out for Andy's review soon.
