The Madden development team has now cleared up any confusion over the release of the demo for the game which is due to hit the shops next month,
Posting on the EA sports site, the Madden team have clarified that there will be two separate demos both available on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network. The game is not released until 14 August but the first demo will be available from as early as 23 July for those that pre-ordered the game.
Pre-orders not only get access to the demo a week early but also gain access to an exclusive demo featuring a Super Bowl XLIII rematch between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Arizona Cardinals with 5 minute quarters. This is for both the 360 and PS3 pre-orders.
The free demo will be released for everyone, PS3 and 360 gamers, on 30 July and feature a night game in heavy snow with the Dallas Cowboys at the New York Giants.
If there was any confusion over the timescale of the demo releases, this should have now cleared it up.
