Funcom “Excited” About Revealing AoC Expansion

While speaking to IncGamers about the recent events surrounding the MMO Age of Conan, Erling Ellingsen, director of communications at Funcom, described the feelings of the team at the prospect of unveiling AoC's first expansion at GamesCom next month.

Erling confirmed to us that players returning to AoC would log back into the game after a potentially long absence to find all their characters intact. He also spoke a little about news that the game's first expansion will be revealed at GamesCom in Cologne, which runs from 19 to 23 August:

"We're really looking forward to showcasing the first expansion for Age of Conan at GamesCom. The team has been working very hard on this, and everyone is very excited about soon being able to show it to the world!"
