New LittleBigPlanet Levels

Media Molecule has announced that new levels are in development for LittleBigPlanet.

In a recent interview with Play magazine, David Smith announced Media Molecule is in the process of creating new levels due to community demand.

"The community is often requesting new levels from Mm, so this is high on our list of priorities," he said.

His praise for the LittleBigPlanet fans who have made levels was apparent and said this was one of the reason Media Molecule want to release new maps.

"Seeing all the inventive and beautiful levels made by our community certainly inspires us," said Smith.

The interview in the next issue of Play will also focus on the possibility of a sequel and how the development of LittleBigPlanet for the PSP is going.

We reported earlier today on how Media Molecule have set up a new competition for LittleBigPlanet fans.
