Suda 51 Wants Travis Touchdown In Smash Bros

Suda 51 has stated that he wants Travis Touchdown to appear in the next Smash Bros game.

According to Nintendo Dpad the outspoken developer, asked by Nintendo Power whether or not the No More Heroes star was his favourite character, responded "I love him, and I want him to be a huge star. That's why I'm working very hard to make [No More Heroes 2] as interesting as possible. Maybe in the future, we can see him fighting alongside Link in the next Smash Bros. (Laughs) That would be great."

While it's far from confirmation that the beam katana-wielding otaku will turn up in a Smash Bros game in future, or even that there's a new Smash Bros in the works, we reckon he'd be a good fit for the series.

Of course, there are plenty of other third-party characters who would do well in the fighting series. Likely? Not necessarily, but Snake and Sonic appeared, after all.
