Watchmen Episode 2 Due This Month

Warner Bros. has announced the second instalment in the Watchmen series will be out later this month.

Watchmen: The End is Nigh Part 2 is due for release on 29 July and sees Rorschach and Nite Owl team up once again to solve the case of a missing girl, Violet Greene. Part 2 will be available on PC on 29 July and on PlayStation Network the next day for a suggested retail price (SRP) of $14.99 USD. The Xbox 360 version will follow on 26 August at a price of 1200 MS Points.

Warner Bros. also announced two new Watchmen bundles: Xbox 360 owners can purchase parts 1 and 2 as a single game for an SRP of $29.99 USD. It’s due to land on Xbox LIVE on 21 July, over a month before the standalone release of Part 2.

PS3 users have not been forgotten, however, and will be offered Watchmen: The End is Nigh The Complete Experience from 21 July. The bundle includes the director’s cut of the film on Blu-Ray (featuring 25 minutes of unseen footage) as well as parts 1 and 2 of the game. Also set to include exclusive artwork and premium packaging, The Complete Experience will set you back $49.99 USD.
