Eidos has released the first developer diary for its new Batman game, Batman: Arkham Asylum.

Inside the Asylum sees the developers discussing the storyline and central premise of the game, with game director Sefton Hill revealing that the team wanted to create "the worst night of Batman's life."

Batman: Arkham Asylum is due for release on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on 28 August.
