Splinter Cell: Conviction Developer Diary

Ubisoft has released the first developer diary for the upcoming Splinter Cell: Conviction.

The developers discuss the new emphasis on action – “if you’re spotted, it shouldn’t be mission failure” – and explain the PEV system (prepare, execute, vanish) and the all new mark and execute mechanic.

Conviction follows the series’ hero, Sam Fisher, in his quest to avenge the death of his daughter. It’s due for release on PC and Xbox 360 in the autumn.
