Details for the Wii version of Ashes Cricket 2009 has been confirmed.

Up to four players will be able to participate at once in a variety of game modes including the Ashes series, one day test matches or Twenty20 games.

The Wii Remote will be the focus of the game with batsmen able to drive, cut and slog throughout their innings. For bowlers you will be able to polish the ball, and apply swing to the ball as you deliver the ball.

No details have been confirmed on whether the Wii Motion Plus will be incorporated into the game.

A new feature for the game called Scenario Mode has been announced where over 50 different defining moments in cricket history are available to play out. Whether scoring match-winning runs or trying to take the last wicket to win a game, the mode will be a trip down memory lane for all cricket fans.
