Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3-owning gamers will be able to get their hands on Battlefield 1943 next week.
The title will launch on 8 July on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace and 9 July on the PlayStation Network.
Four maps come with the title which supports 24 players, and will be available for £9.99 GBP or 1200 Microsoft Points.
Battlefield 1943 uses the popular PC title Battlefield 1942 as its inspiration and will feature destructible scenery through the Frostbite engine, which was first used in Battlefield: Bad Company.
Three of the maps will be available from the start, but Coral Sea, a planes only map, will be unlocked after the community gets a combined 43 million kills.
The PC release of the title is expected in September but no details have been confirmed.
