New Vandal Hearts Screens, Info, Delay

Forthcoming Xbox LIVE Arcade and PlayStation Network title Vandal Hearts: Flames of Judgment has been delayed.

A press release issued today has moved the date back from the previous estimate of August for 360 and September fo PSN to a slightly more vague "Winter" timeframe.

On the plus side, there are some new screenshots - which you can see below - as well as a bit t thE game will t -ewhice yiw ccontain.

We can expect 20 maps, a focus on story with multiple endings, improved user mechanics, and characters which automatically improve at whatever you make them do.

For those who aren't in the know, Vandal Hearts was a turn-based strategy game on the very first PlayStation. It had some rather impressive class-change mechanics, a rather quick pace for a turn-based strategy title, and, happily, explosive fountains of blood every time a character died. It was popular enough to get one sequel which, for a variety of reasons, went almost unnoticed in Europe.

The new screenshots of prequel Flames of Judgment follow.
