Worms 2: Armageddon Coming To XBLA

Team 17 has confirmed Worms 2: Armageddon will be released on Xbox Live Arcade 1 July for 800 Microsoft Points.

The announcement was made on their Facebook page and also announced that new weapons would be added into the game.

A sentry gun, electro magnet, bunker buster, buffalo of lies and the super bunker buster make their debut in the game along with all the traditional weapons found in the original Armageddon game.

The original Worms title is still one of the biggest hits on the Xbox Live Arcade and Worms 2 is widely expected to follow with a reasonable price of 800 MSP.

Worms 2 will feature single and multiplayer battles as well as leaderboard challenge mode.

Team 17, the UK based company, have listened to the community and promised a wide variety of character customisation for your worms team including voices and hats.
