Dawn of War 2 Getting Map Editor

A map editor has been announced for Dawn of War 2 and will come free with the ‘There is Only War’ update.

This will be added along with the other additions planned for the update which we reported on last week.

Gamers will be able to create new maps for the multiplayer community and will include urban, desert, tyrannoformed, and jungle map types.

Terrain will be able to be modified, as well as having the choice to add cover, choose weather, and size of the map.

User generated maps will have the choice of supporting two, four or six players.

A sample map and user guide on the world builder will be included in the update.

The beta for the update will be available in July with the final version being accessible towards the end of the summer.
