Epic Games has released details regarding the next Gears of War 2 update.
Rod Fergusson, executive producer of Gears of War 2, has posted on the Epic Games forum exactly what the update will entail.
Fergusson stated that 13 new achievements will be made accessible in the update. To get these, however, players will need the Dark Corners map pack due later this year.
The main feature, though, is the ability to collect multiplayer experience points while playing Horde mode. Players will receive 50 points for each completed casual wave, 75 for normal, 100 for hardcore, and 125 for insane.
For full update notes, see the forum post here. There's still no word on when we'll be seeing the update, but we don't think it'll be too far away. If you still haven't picked up a copy of this Xbox 360 exclusive, check out our review now.
