US players of Turbine's MMO, Lord of the Rings Online, will recieve the latest update to the game client today; Book 8: Scourge of Khazad-Dûm.
This large update introduces the Book 8 epic questline, a barter system for First Age Legendary Items, the summer festival and a revamp of the crafting system. There are also several class changes and a number of Monster Play adjustments.
According to Codemasters, the EU update should be released this Thursday, 25 June. See the lengthy patch notes at the official LotRo site.
