Aion Release Date Revealed

NCSoft's new MMORPG finally gets a release date.

NCSoft has confirmed to IncGamers that their new MMORPG Aion: Tower of Eternity will be released on the 22 September in America and 25 September in Europe.

Until today, it had been speculated that the game would see a September release and this confirmation will be welcomed by MMORPG fans who have been looking forward to a final release date, particularly now that the beta process has been ongoing for a while.

The game will be available at retail, will also be available as a digital download at NCsoft.com, Direct2Drive, and through Steam.

For those that pre-order, there is the opportunity to play in the closed Beta and the following beta dates have been set:

• Friday, 3rd July to Monday, 6th July
• Friday, 17th July to Monday, 20th July
• Friday, 31st July to Monday, 3rd August
• Friday, 14th August to Monday, 17th August
