Cryptic Studios has unveiled another villain in the upcoming superhero MMO, Champions Online.
The monstrous Qwyjibo was once a noble 'manimal', created by Dr Moreau. Like fellow manimal, Dr Silverback, Qwyjibo was not convinced by Moreau's way of life, so he helped the New Knights of the Round Table when they attacked the base on Monster Island where the creatures were kept.
Unlike Dr Silverack, Qwyjibo decided to stay on the island and form the manimal village of New Gornyj. While fighting to protect the village, he was faced with the choice of saving himself or his village. He saved the village but in the process was transformed into something terrible. He is now a monster, but knowing his noble beginnings, no true hero wants to kill Qwyjibo.
