New Mario and Sonic DS Screens

Sega and Nintendo have released a batch of new screens from the DS version of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games.

Teaming up for a second sports-themed adventure, Mario and Sonic find themselves in Vancouver, the host city of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games.

The game is being developed by SEGA of Japan - under the watchful eye of a certain Mr Miyamoto - and takes players to “lifelike Olympic venues” where they can choose from a host of familiar characters and take part in a number of authentic Winter Games events.

The game will be tailored to the DS control scheme and will take full advantage of the handheld’s wireless capabilities for multiplayer.

The game is due for release on DS and Wii in late 2009.
