Ghostbusters On 360 Will Be Region Free

Atari has announced the Xbox 360 version of Ghostbusters, due to launch first in the US on 16 June, will not be region locked.

The news, courtesy of Destructoid, follows an announcement earlier in the year that the European release of the game would be a Sony timed-exclusive, arriving on 19 June on PS2 and PS3, with Xbox 360, DS and Wii versions to follow later.

Now, European users can import the 360 version before the PS3 one hits the shelves, somewhat undermining Sony’s exclusivity deal.
