FIFA 2010 Details Revealed


Electronic Arts has revealed features and details for FIFA 2010.

Changes in FIFA 2010 design compared to 2009 include:

Improved goalkeeper intelligence.
More realistic shooting mechanics.
Practice area.
More realistic player positioning.
True 360° dribbling system.
Lateral dribbling to skip past defenders.
Less predictable and extended fight for possession between dribbler and defender.

Manager Mode has received over 50 "major improvements," including:
New match realism.
Realistic player transfers based on multiple decision points.
True-to-life player growth curves.

Andrew Wilson, VP and EP of the FIFA franchise said the company has "listened and responded to [gamers'] feedback to improve player control, responsiveness and intelligence and create what we believe is the world's most authentic football videogame." The company has also analysed over 275 million online games played and made changes to the new FIFA game based on this data.

EA will be announcing a new feature called "Be A Pro" for FIFA 2010 in the upcoming months. The game is developed by EA Canada and will be released for PS3, Xbox360, Wii, PC, PS2, DS, PSP and mobiles in the fall of 2009.
