Rockstar Games has announced the second piece of Xbox 360 exclusive downloadable content for Grand Theft Auto IV.
Titled "The Ballad of Gay Tony," the DLC focuses more on the wealthy side of the city, and all that comes with it.
Players take the role of Luis Lopez, a "part-time hoodlum and full-time assistant to legendary nightclub impresario Tony Prince," better known as Gay Tony. Poor Luis is going to suffer conflicted loyalties and a lot of lies, with family and friends alike causing problems, leaving him unsure of who to trust.
According to Sam Houser, the founder of Rockstar Games, "The episodic structure has allowed us to interweave stories, gameplay and atmosphere in a whole new way. The team at Rockstar have yet again surpassed themselves, and made something that is both epic and very innovative."
"This episode's focus on high-end night life contrasts with the biker gangs portrayed in The Lost and the Damned, whilst giving us a lot of new gameplay possibilities," Houser finished.
The Ballad of Gay Tony is due out exclusively on Xbox 360 around autumn, and will cost you 1600 MS Points.
However, you'll also be able to pick up a copy of GTA: Episodes from Liberty City, a retail disc that contains both The Ballad of Gay Tony and The Lost and the Damned. Better still, if bought in this package, both are completely standalone. This is currently priced at $39.99 USD, which works out to around £25 GBP if pricing stays consistent. We wouldn't be surprised if we're asked to pay £30 GBP, though.
