New billboards in Los Angeles near the E3 centre confirm Final Fantasy XIII (FF XIII) for 2010.
The billboards have appeared just ahead of E3, confirming previous reports about the RPG sequel not reaching the West until 2009.
Close to the LA Convention Center where next week's E3 Expo will take place, the side of a hotel has been adorned with three of the characters from FF XIII. It's safe to assume we will have a lot more information on Final Fantasy XIII next week.
While the U.S. And European releases will wait to 2010, FF XIII is likely to debut in Japan this year. The game already has a demo (that possibly will be downloadable). The lack of a simultaneous worldwide release is not surprising since Square Enix has not had a good track record doing that in the past.
According to Square Enix's Yoshinori Kitase, the Western release of the game for the Xbox 360 will apparently only feature an English audio track.
