Killzone 2 Flash And Thunder Pack Dated

Sony has announced the Flash and Thunder map pack for Killzone 2 will be released next month.

The pack contains two new maps, both of which were fan favourites from the first Killzone title. Beach Head sees the ISA defending their beaches from the attacking Helghast as torrential rain and strong winds batter the landscape. With little cover on offer, players will have to watch their back at all times.

In Southern Hills, the ISA attack a Helghast hilltop camp which lends itself well to close quarters combat and long range sniping. There’s also a “radioactive surprise” lurking somewhere on the level so you’ll need to take cover when you hear the alarms going off.

The Flash and Thunder pack is due to hit PSN on 11 June and will set you back $5.99 USD. A new Killzone patch is also due next week, so stay tuned for details.
