Artist Eva Widermann Joins Runes Of Magic

The well-known artist and illustrator Eva Widermann has joined forces with Frogster to begin work immediately on the free to play MMO, Runes of Magic.

The Munich-born artist has worked with other games companies such as EA, NC soft and Wizards of the Coast, specifically on Dungeons and Dragons.

“For a long while things have looked rather bleak for concept art in Germany and I belong to the majority of illustrators who have seized their opportunities mainly abroad. And so I’m all the more delighted about the cooperation with Frogster and the up-coming projects.”

The first pieces of concept art that Widermann made for RoM is already being implemented into the world of Taboria by developers Runewaker. Her future work will be on upcoming features in the game. CEO of Frogster Online Gaming, Andreas Weidenhaupt, spoke about this latest team member:

“We are continuing to work consistently to tailor Runes of Magic to western markets. Eva’s superb concepts help us in going a long way to bringing this precept into reality.”
