Gears of War 2: All Fronts Announced, Dark Corners Detailed

Microsoft has announced that Gears of War 2: All Fronts will be hitting retail shelves soon.

The pack is a compilation of all Gears of War 2 add-on packs, with the disc containing the Flashback map pack, the Combustible map pack, the Snowblind map pack, and the forthcoming Dark Corners map pack.

The Dark Corners map pack contains seven new multiplayer maps, pulled from a variety of settings and styles, in addition to a deleted campaign chapter named "Road to Ruin," which takes Marcus and Dom back to the Locust Hollow. Intriguingly, Road to Ruin can be played in two ways - "guns blazing or in all-new stealth mode."

The All Fronts pack also contains an introduction to Road to Ruin by Epic's design director Cliff Bleszinski, a custom Xbox Live theme, a collectible Gears of War 2 poster, and a strategy guide.

The price? $19.99 USD, or £14.99 GBP, or €19.99 EUR. Not bad, for what's estimated as 3600 Microsoft Points worth of content.

The All Fronts pack is due out on 28 July.
