Infernal Engine Crosses The Streams

Terminal Reality's Infernal Engine is powering The Hunt and The Strike.

The Infernal Engine, which is known for powering the upcoming Ghostbusters games will also power the hunting simulator The Hunt and the fishing simulator The Strike.

Terminal Reality says the engine will be able to power any modern platforms' games and "developers love the ease with which the Infernal Engine scales between systems."

Bass Pro Shops, the developers of The Strike, praise the software saying "most impressive is that we did not have to sacrifice the level size when we developed The Strike for the Nintendo Wii," and the engine allowed them to create immense environments with a high level of realistic detail.

Both titles, The Hunt and The Strike, will be available for Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, and PC.

To find out more about the Infernal Engine check out our video interview with Ghostbuster developers Brendon Goss and Drew Haworth.
