IL-2 Talent Announced

505 Games has announced its upcoming title, IL2, will feature the talents of Jeremy Soule (KOTOR, Oblivion) and Joss Ackland (Lethal Weapon 2).

The highly anticipated console title of the scarily realistic PC flight simulator will see Soule compose an original and exclusive soundtrack for the European version of the game while Ackland will provide the voice for the game's narration in both the UK and US versions.

Gaijin Entertainment will develop the game for the 360, PS3, while DiP Interactive will develop the title for the PSP and DS.

Flight sim fans will know the PC version of the game is one of the best flight simulators around, and the console version hopes to recreate the level of authenticity previously set.

Features will include the recreation of famous historical battles over Eastern and Western Europe, five theatres of war including the Battle of Britain, flexible realistic options allowing you to make the experience as real as you like, and, of course, comprehensive multiplayer options.

The game is due for release sometime later this year.
