EA has revealed that Need for Speed Undercover will soon be getting a free DLC pack, entitled "Challenge Series."
An interview on the Need for Speed website with Undercover's producer, Marc DeVellis, revealed what we can expect when the DLC hits.
The Challenge Series is set to contain 60 events spread across ten game modes, with two levels of difficulty. Players will be rewarded for doing well, as there are three "Reward Cars" to unlock, which can be used online or offline.
Two of the modes included in the Challenge Series are brand new, with Highway Wars playing out like Highway Battle, but with three AI opponents instead of one, and a lot more traffic to contend with. The second new mode, Highway Checkpoint, asks players to race to checkpoints, through traffic, under incredibly tight time conditions.
The DLC is estimated to take around seven hours to complete, and is completely free. You can see what we thought of Need for Speed Undercover here, and you can check out our impressions of forthcoming title Need for Speed Shift here.
