EA Announces MySims Agents

EA today announced MySims Agents, a new puzzle-solving adventure game for the Nintendo Wii and DS.

Promising to bring mysteries, puzzles and sinister villains, MySims Agents players will be faced with a number of crimes to solve. The Wii and DS version offer different experiences; the Wii game sees players take on the role of a special agent hired to foil a lord of the criminal underworld. Players must use a variety of skills including tracking footprints, hacking into computers, picking locks and following clues to achieve their goal. DS players must help the Mayor of a town prevent a top thief from stealing a valuable treasure. Solving puzzles and following clues also feature in this version, along with ten mini games.

“We’re thrilled to bring you MySims Agents, the next game from MySims, something completely different than any MySims game before,” said Tim LeTourneau, General Manager of the MySims franchise. “Its mystery-meets-adventure theme allows players to hone their problem-solving skills while still enjoying all of the beloved MySims charm; characters, customisation and humour.”

MySims Agents is scheduled to be released worldwide in the Autumn of 2009, see screenshots of the game below; first two images are from the DS, the other five are from the Wii version.
