WAR: Beyond The Sands Event Live

Mythic has announced that the latest in-game event for the MMO, Warhammer Online, is now live.

In 'Beyond the Sands', players must travel to the Land of the Dead to battle the Liche Priests and recover artefacts from the Nehekharan Kings. The rewards for completing the tasks laid before them will in the form of treasure and glory: Tomb Kings trophies are up for grabs, the coveted Aviator Goggles (seen below), which is a head slot item with special properties, and the titles 'Grave Robber' and 'The Eternal' are all available only during this event.

“The next big event in the Call to Arms live expansion has arrived, and we couldn’t be more excited,” said Mark Jacobs, vice president and general manager of Mythic Entertainment. “‘Beyond the Sands’ introduces the ancient and eternal Tomb Kings to WAR, a game already packed with amazing content. This live event is just a small taste of the Tomb Kings-themed, undead mayhem still to come!”
