Rock Band Kick Pedal/Double Bass Adaptor Ships

Harmonix have announced that they've shipped a "Kick Pedal With Double Bass Adaptor."

In what is potentially a thunder-stealing move, Harmonix have shipped a kick pedal which allows players to use two Rock Band kick pedals at a time.

This has been mooted for awhile and probably wouldn't be such a big deal were it not for the fact that it also works with both Guitar Hero World Tour and Guitar Hero Metallica - and there's been quite a big deal made about the latter's Expert+ difficulty being built for two kick pedals.

The Kick Pedal With Double Bass Adaptor is apparently out now, at a price of $24.99 USD, and reportedly functions with the Rock Band kit for Wii, PS2, PS3, and Xbox 360.

There's no word on a UK release, but this will surprise nobody as we still haven't had the Rock Band 2 instruments released.

Guitar Hero: Metallica is due out in the UK next month.
