Sega are apparently fairly happy to make a MadWorld franchise, if the audience is there for one.
Speaking to VentureBeat, Sega of America's vice president of marketing Sean Ratcliffe answered a question about the potential for MadWorld sequels.
"If it resonates with the audience, yes, we absolutely want to make that into a franchise," he responded. "I think it's unique, and there are many aspects of that game which are sort of pushing boundaries."
This may even be somewhat likely, too. While MadWorld hasn't exactly set the charts alight, Ratcliffe did say "The first set of data for Madworld is very encouraging."
A company saying it might make sequels to a title if enough people want them? Bizarre.
