A new Silent Hill game has been announced for the Wii, and it won't be a remake or a port.
According to an article posted on GoNintendo quoting producer Tomm Hulett, the new game will "really feel[s] like a new game."
The choices you make in game will affect the way the game works and Hulett goes on to say that the game is "watching" you, while your behaviour "can determine when you'll meet certain characters," meaning you'll be privy to a whole host of other, alternative ways to play the game.
Most notably, however, is that every locked door is accessible; something fans of the games will be relieved to hear.
"Longtime fans of the series will also be delighted to learn that there's a way through every locked door; no more checking dozens of entrances only to find that 90% of them are permanently barred shut."
