Batman: Arkham Asylum Challenge Mode Video

Eidos has released a new video from Batman: Arkham Asylum showing game’s Challenge Mode in action.

In Challenge Mode Batman is tasked with performing a certain number of specific takedowns to advance. The video shows the Dark Knight combining his Detective and Invisible Predator abilities in order to pick off a number of the Joker’s armed thugs.

The video is narrated by game director Sefton Hill who reveals that enemy positions are randomised in the Challenge mode.

“There are no set patrol paths for the thugs,” he says.

“Every time you play the game it’s different.”

He goes on to describe how once Batman has incapacitated a few of the thugs, the remaining henchmen become more nervous and their actions harder to predict.
