World at War Map Pack Passes One Million Downloads

Call of Duty: World at War's first map pack passed a huge download mark in its first weekend.

Activision announced that, over the March 19 to March 22 weekend, the map pack was downloaded over one million times.

"I'm proud that the team at Treyarch delivered an experience that so many people are enjoying," said Mark Lamia, Treyarch's studio head. "We're excited that the success of Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 1 will continue to drive the popularity of the game's Nazi Zombie mode, competitive multiplayer and chart-breaking success online."

The pack contains four maps - three of which are "normal," with the fourth expanding on the Nazi Zombies mode - and costs 800 Microsoft points on Xbox Live, or $9.99 USD on the PlayStation Network.

Quite a few players have been revelling in dog murder, then.
