Brütal Legend Heading To Wii?

Rumours are circulating that Brütal Legend may be getting a Wii release.

1UP spoke to Tim Schafer, head honcho at Double Fine Productions, and queried him about the rumours.

Schafer apparently paused to ask his PR representive as to how he should respond. In the end, he simply stated "We are making an Xbox 360 and a PS3 version of Brütal Legend."

Asking the PR rep may be a sign that there's more going on here than has been announced, particularly in the context of that carefully worded response, which admits nothing - but, equally, denies nothing.

EA picked up the rock-and-roll action game a few months back, and the publisher is quickly getting a reputation for creating Wii tie-ins for 360 and PS3 games, so take this as you will.
