GDC isn’t just about techy presentations and the interminable ramblings of Satoru Iwata, there’s also a good deal of industry backslapping going on.
The 9th annual Game Developers Choice Awards ceremony also took place at the GDC and Bethesda’s Fallout 3 won the coveted Game of the Year Award. The game also took the Best Writing Award.
Media Molecule’s LittleBigPlanet turned out to be another big winner, taking home four awards: Best Game Design, Best Technology, Best Debut Game and Innovation Award.
