Square Enix's Tetsuya Nomura has confirmed that there will be more coming to the Final Fantasy VII series.
The CGI movie, Advent Children, is soon to be released in Japan on Blu-Ray, so now seems an opportune time to say this won't be the last we hear of Final Fantasy VII.
Kotaku report that Nomura, asked about the next entry in the series, replied "We do have an idea for the next Compilation [the name of the Final Fantasy VII series], and for the time being, that's all we can say. It won't start up anytime soon."
So far, the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII series has contained four games - Before Crisis, Dirge of Cerberus, Dirge of Cerberus Lost Episode, and Crisis Core - and two movies, Advent Children and Last Order.
